On May 8, 2024 I visited Sandspit Beach in Los Osos.
I was there for the purpose of drawing. I parked my vehicle and took my drawing supplies to the picnic tables located just past the parking area at the head of the trail. It took me about 10 minutes to get my materials arranged. At that time (10:30 AM) I heard what sounded like someone playing music through a PA system. I thought perhaps someone had pulled in the parking lot with their windows down while listening to music loudly. When the music persisted after five minutes I looked to see what was going on. It was very loud and disruptive to the area. I observed a dark blue KIA parked at the far end of the lot near the restrooms facing away from the ocean with the driver side door open. I approached the vehicle with my camera recording at 10:36AM:
At this point I thought she was leaving and turned my camera off. She then lunged at me and threatened me with bodily harm. I turned the camera back on:

After speaking with Officer David (#1592) I received an event # for this incident. It is #240508S-0035.
