COMMON GROUND
OBITUARY NOTICE:
On January 20, 2025 the untimely death of a Common Family devastated the Common Community of The United States of America. Common Sense, Common Courtesy, Common Decency, and Common Curiosity (all born 7/4/1776) perished due to the inauguration of Donald J. Trump and the institution of far right ideology upon the Country. This Common Family is survived by the American Multi-disciplinary Conceptual Fine Artist, Crafts Person & ReiKi Master Teacher, Larissa. The COMMON GROUND in which the family are interned is located at 1UV Gallery Studio, 716 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Starting June 6, 2025 you may come to pay your respects during gallery public hours on Saturdays from noon to 5PM, the First Friday of the month from noon to 9PM, or by private appointment. In lieu of flowers the Artist requests you purchase a series catalog or other 1UV a kind work of Art, advertising in 1UV MONTHLY, M/Patronage package or Creative Service. Price of purchases go to support the ongoing efforts of the Artist to share Common Sense, Common Decency, Common Courtesy, and Common Curiosity with humanity.
​Common Sense -- good sense and sound judgment in practical matters.
Common Decency -- the ethical and moral behavior that involves treating others with respect, fairness, and understanding.
Common Courtesy - the basic level of politeness that people are generally expected to show. It can also refer to the moral or ethical behavior that is guided by fairness, empathy, and justice.
Common Curiosity -- the natural human inclination to explore, learn, and understand the world, a shared trait that drives us to ask questions, seek new experiences, and expand our knowledge.​
